Welcome to Stockwell Skip Hire. By renting a skip from us, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.

1. Rental Agreement

Upon selecting a skip size and rental period, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Stockwell Skip Hire. This agreement outlines the responsibilities and obligations of both parties involved.

1.1 Skip Sizes and Specifications

  • Mini Skip: Ideal for small household clean-ups.
  • Midi Skip: Suitable for larger projects like renovations.
  • Builders Skip: Designed for large-scale construction waste.

1.2 Rental Period

The standard rental period is 7 days. Extensions may be granted upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.

2. Payment Terms

All rentals require a deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of the skip. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

2.1 Late Returns

If the skip is not returned within the agreed rental period, a daily late fee will apply until the skip is picked up.

3. Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to use the skip responsibly and adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Avoid overfilling the skip beyond its capacity.
  • Do not dispose of hazardous materials.
  • Ensure the skip is placed on a stable and flat surface.
  • Maintain clear access around the skip for delivery and collection vehicles.

3.1 Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in our skips:

  • Chemicals and solvents
  • Paints and varnishes
  • Electrical appliances
  • Medical waste

4. Delivery and Collection

Our team will coordinate the delivery and collection of your skip based on your provided schedule. Please ensure that someone is available on the specified dates to facilitate this process.

4.1 Access Requirements

Guests and delivery personnel must have reasonable access to the skip location. Any delays due to restricted access may incur additional charges.

5. Cancellation Policy

Bookings can be canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date without incurring any fees. Cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee.

5.1 Refunds

Refunds for canceled bookings will be processed within 7-10 business days, excluding any applicable cancellation fees.

6. Liability

Stockwell Skip Hire is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services, except where such liability is expressly mandated by law.

6.1 Insurance

We recommend that customers have appropriate insurance coverage for their properties and the use of our skips.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the prevailing laws.

7.1 Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Stockwell Skip Hire operates.

8. Amendments

Stockwell Skip Hire reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes which will take effect upon notification.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with the skip rental, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
